Impact of the Campaign

Since the campaign began in 2021, Counsel for Kids has improved access to high-quality legal representation for young people experiencing the child welfare system.

Across the country, Counsel for Kids has supported advocates at the state level to enshrine a Right to Counsel where none existed before, and to improve existing systems so that young people benefit from a true attorney-client relationship.
